In the pre-post advantage area there is a statement which says "Prepost-125kb max file size". However in the FAQ, the ceiling limit on file size is 75kb. Does this mean that a prepost Advantage can now be 125kb, but must be reduced to 75kb before the contest opens, or is there a new file size limit for all posted entries? Or what am I missing? I think it means that your Prepost Image can be 125K, but if you were going to post a second entry for a contest, or post your entry on the day of the contest you would have to post below the 75K mark.

Just my Guess Smile

Thanks Mo..
As good a guess as any, but I'm wondering what the benefit of posting at 125kb would be, if it ultimately had to be reduced to 75kb. There is no advantage to just posting a picture 7 days in advance knowing you are going to change it, but hoping to retain a favored spot in the picture queue because the picture is pushed to the back of the queue every time it is edited. I have got to be missing a critical fact.. Smile

Pat,

You are now allowed, as an advantage member, to prepost images up to 125kb for the contests. As I understand it, the file size can be up to 125kb both for the prepost and any time that you edit that entry as well, but you don't need to reduce it to 75kb once the contest starts, as this is a new feature of advantage. That is a terrific new addition to the advantage posts.. It was probably written somewhere, and I just missed it. Thanks for this Yippee! moment. This will make gifs
a lot more credible and add better resolution and color to the daily pics..
