Scion's got some valid points. The Brainstorm forum used to be a great place to discuss feature ideas. Pros and cons were thrown (along with a fair number of insults) but the end result was that good ideas were refined.

I also worry about the site going too commercial in operation and "feel". The thing that kept me at PSC was the community feel. If you had an idea you brought it up. If Jeremy liked the idea it was implemented. If the community liked the idea we brow beat Jeremy into implementing it.

It's important to keep the existing users happy so they don't leave. We've lost way too many brilliant people already. It's also important to have visitors and new users feel welcome. If they feel welcome enough they're more likely to pony up the money for an Advantage membership.

Last evening Procyon spent quite a while in chat. For
myself I am very encouraged that we got real lucky and this
is a guy that will keep PSC...........PSC.

I think it's safe to be optimistic.I think we're in good hands.

the reason pix in regular chat were droped is coz certain .ppl were posting porn and gore, not good for casual vistors, or future site sponcers, advantage chat keeps aliasshole at bay too, if they want to pay dbl advantage just to have an alias? more power to them
