Hah!

Note: In the UK, "fag" is slang for a cigarette. Cue much mirth (or shock) from American visitors at phrases like "I'm going outside for a fag", "can I get a fag off you?" etc...

Also, traditionally, a "fag" is a junior kid in a private school, used as a bag-carrier and general skivvy for the seniors.

(Although due to the increased seepage of American culture across the pond, you do hear it used in that *other* sense a bit now)

"Queer" and "poof" (or "poofter") on the other hand, are much less ambiguous...

Very Happy (loves Seinfeld) Laughing

Sorry for bringing this thread off-topic. Confused

I agree the chat can seem pretty hostile at times; but I also think that it's usually people who "know" each other and are just joking around.

Quite.

Mostly you'll find as you get to know people at PSC, that they're not as bad as the first forum comments you see might suggest.

Mostly. Wink

Hahaha! Wait and see what might happen in the next few days' contests now!

Hm... this thread is in danger of turning into another one like the thread where Rein, Fugue, Doodler and myself "flashed" body parts... Err.. not all at once in the same place you understand... Laughing

Better notify missrobin and nancers - there might be some "manass" to see soon... Shocked

BrotherDoug, you've got yourself a fan. I love people who'll back their words up with photos!

(Reinman would definitely approve!)
