Okay - I noticed you are on a PC platform for your CS3. I use The Other Brand. I'm assuming you are talking about changing the file name to *.* when the dialogue box opens up? Which you can do on a PC, if I remember correctly. On a Mac you can't.



I tried changing it to *.* at the actual file but that didn't work too. Hmmmmm....

I too have kept Image Ready around for this (and basic slicing n' dicing - I prefer the IR way), but loading in an animated GIF directly would be nice.

Any ideas for this on the Mac platform (without a bunch of MacHate comments and PC vs MAC arguments) ?

I too am on the MAC platform. do you have PS extended Reindude? I think that may be our issue...
regardless, IR is very capable of taking care of this as well. all you need to do is save it as a .psd, then you can bring it into CS3 with all the frames and do the rest in PS.
