Arty stuff is great, and I have seen some wonderful work here that contradicts those realities. But I guess true mastery of PHOTOshop is the ability to combine images into a cohesive and PHOTOrealistic scene. And of course, PHOTOrealism requires attention to lighting/shading/colour matching/perspective/reflections etc. Mastery of these basics won't hurt an artist's ability to develop their own artistic style. Remember, even guys like Picasso had the ability to represent stuff realistically. Wink
