About the watch...
It was a fine watch but when you get down to it,
a timepiece was transformed into...another timepiece.
That's the kind of "in-the-box" thinking that I wouldn't vote for even if it was technically flawless.

Mr. Marx, I was the first to admit that the newly assembled watch was far from perfect. Hey, I could poke holes in it all day long. For starters next time around I probably wouldn't bring the source silver frame into the 'new' watch, just the black clock face.

The purpose of the exercise was to pay more attention to perspective and some general cleanup, which bugged me in the entry posted in the contest. Blade asked for advice, I gave as much advice as I could at the time. Please feel free to share your experience, techniques, tips, tricks, etc. The external source can be found here
