That was cool ! Sorry if I came accross as an A Hole , I was just having fun as I am trying to figure out the WWW .

I mean the rules seem to change depending where you post. some websites let you right click thier pictures, some say it's wrong. We had a well known news paper writer here in San Antonio that was trying to cut corners and he took a topic off a website and the paper printed it, and he was fired. but yet how many times do we see someone like Malcom X's quotes printed somewhere and I don't think anyone asked him for permisission,

You must admit, there is alot of grey area when it comes to the www.....

There is a difference between this ^^^ and this...

So you find you have difficulty determining right from wrong for yourself.
Then you Rightfully ask for others views on the subject.
Their views don't condone your actions , so you argue with them.
Why even ask then?

Yes, i would have said the exact same thing. Not that any intellegent Mod would have said it was ok...

"Quote:
we all know that to use someone elses work is wrong.

well to be honest it may not have been that persons work in the first place, I hvae seen some pictures here that show up in different contest, I used a picture and i saw some one else use it a week later, But I see your point, I just don't see how it's wrong to say you can steal a pic off the net just don't steal it here, What if one of my pictures ends uip on Yahoo? does that mean its public domain? And how will you know If someone uses something they saw here at the site if they only used a small portion of it?"

A photograph and a chop, which is essentially a collage, are two completely different things. Photos on the internet are almost always on there for other people to view or use.
Chops from this site, on the other hand, are in a competition and are not meant to be used by other people to compete in the same contests with them modified a bit.

"I only have an 9th grade education , and I did not finish high School why can't I cut corners? Not that I will any more,"

Not much of an excuse, I'm only in 11th...

"Using photos from the web is different thing altogether.

I will remember that when I see one of your pictures on Google"

Re-read the above if you have to.

Im not trying t sound like an ass, either, but hey, Im just stating the facts. you still dont seem to get the point since you are still questioning what everyone is telling you. do you think we are lying? lol

Interesting...how many people have an alias on this site? All one needs is duplicate email accounts? So Marco could actually have 50 accounts who vote for his entry everyday...JUST HYPOTHETICALLY... Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Heh, I wonder if anyone has ever thought that I have any aliases...well, I am true-blue honest when it comes to that, I don't have any and never will. If anyone wins off of duplicate accounts, then they suck big time.
