I just wanted to know what kind of ISP are you guys are subscribed to and what are the prices... i have yahoo DSL but I'm planning to go broadband... wanted to know any tips or and helpful information as to which ISP's are cheaper and have better customer service.

I'm considering Comcast, what do you guys think?

NO! Whatever you do, don't get Comcast. They're as bad as AOL. I've got TimeWarner now (They bought out Comcast's hold on my area) But don't get Comcast if you know what's good for ya.

If ya go Comcast--go to their booth in the mall, and they'll give ya the best deals for combo price w/ the cable service ya have now--concast often has frees et up and several free months for switchin over.

Unfortunately, I had to live with both Comcast and an HP for most of my life. Only now am I rid of both! Mr. Green

What's wrong with Comcast? Their service is incredible.

Well, i went to my friends house to check out his speed and as proc suggested that page we did a speed test and this came up... sort of odd i guess

Guess it depends on where you are cause I love comcast. Only been down 2 times in about 2 years. Check your location because there are some rural areas that are just on the edge.

maybe in your area, but it blows out here. Or, it did blow, until TimeWarner took over. The internet was on and off all the time, and their idiotic service in India was as useless as wiping my ass with a cactus.

I agree with Scion..I have comcast and a Compaq PC which is basically the same as HP and I've never had any problems with either one!
