I have a quick Derringer story before I have to leave Rolling Eyes I almost forgot all about it until we started talkin about him, anyway, I went to see him back in the early 80's around the time of his Guitars and Women LP, (no CD's back then) it was a small R&R club called the Agora Ballroom, so the show was about to start, the crowd is getting antsy, and I notice this odd looking old guy walking around the crowd that just didn't fit in, for some reason to me, he just didn't look normal, and that's why I noticed him, then he disappeared, and a few minutes later Rick comes out and the show started, well the old guy was Rick, he was wearing a wig and a beard, I figured he just wanted to see if the stage looked right, then after the show he flew off in a sled with reindeers, I swear Shocked Laughing Merry Christmas everyone!

1979 Guitars and Women, a great Rick Derringer LP Very Happy

James Brown passed away today on Chrismas day, you can read about his life here, he was a very large part of the music scene, and I'm sure he'll never be forgotten. Sad

I always thought that they were at their best on their first 2 albums and kinda dropped the ball after that.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_rs38IR8lI

and this one...how can ya go wrong with an album produced by someone like Butch Vig ( Nirvana's "Nevermind" for example)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jfIVHP0EHh8 GUITARS!!!!!

I had Corgan's "ZWAN" album but got rid of it for lack of interest.
