Hey everybody. I work in a small print shop on campus here in "The North Country". We regularly get what is incorrectly termed 'camera-ready art' Sad . A lot of this has been saved as PDF. Is there any way to work (as in repair) PDF artwork? Is there a program that I need? Confused I often have to re-adjust screen quality etc. but when we get a pdf my hands are tied and I have to print the job as is meaning poor quality, which I really don't like to do at all. Any help would be extremely appreciated. There's a big box of beer in it for you. (or Merlot for you non beer types) Laughing

.pdf is just another adobe format .....you can easily open them in photoshop

unless it is passworded......then you might have to download something to get around someone's password protection

Depends on what do you need to adjust.
Illustrator CS/CS2 can open a PDF file for manipulation, but you'll need the fonts installed.
The whole file can be opened (rendered) in Photoshop, but you lose the vector quialities.
You can open the file in Actobat (full version), define Photoshop as your image editor and touch-up individual images (or graphics elements in Illustrator).

YEAH!!!Thanx a million Wes and Vokaris! It was both! A perfect hit on both counts. Very Happy I KNEW that it had to be able to be done but I was just a little too inexperienced. I thank you both and owe you beer.
