It's just you. And Sean, and eve, and show, and blurker, and.....

But not me. GrampZ and I are bucking the trend! Only irritating animated avatars for me!

Yeah, and a testament to better living through chemisty for mine!

AHAHAHA I thought those were blue rocks until you wrote that and I looked closer. Doh! Laughing

back to the subject matter.... thx Tofu to put in light the obvious genius of Michelangelo, cuz this face produced by the empty spaces, even if not consciently created, was surely an aim in his painting process...it's the case for the greatest others painters, from different centuries who are :: from Rembrandt to Naïk...oops....well...Dali, Bacon etc... those painters had the ability of working in the same time several images, or focuses. In the Chapelle Sixrine here it appears that maybe it was a conscient aim in the composition appealed by the Chapelle's structure...but could be unconscious or "divine" influence ...as u prefer

wait Micose...you saying God made Michelangelo paint the ceiling so that it looked like Darth Vader from a certain angle? Hmm...I smell a cult being born... Laughing

yea, millions ! Well ,we see Vador's face but transpose it like a simple skull.... strong icones, shapes , religious postures, anatomic or organic/erotic curves are unconscious in the best artists'work...it's the simple/best process to be the closest as possible to the collective consciousness, it draws the "conscious" image more effectivly to the viewer nervous's system . Twisted Evil

Laughing yea, it is normal..and .evbdy on earth has this ability to see/feel thoses "layers", but the thing is that the main part don't know it unless a event (drugs/NDE...) takes place (well..;i started to paint after LSD trip by the way) , but it's extremely skillfull to be able to "think" both "realities" in the same time and make them concrete and "merged". Historians never talk of that about Michellangello for instance...here is the million dollar book....

It's funny that the mention of a book was made. I posted this in another forum that I'm on and someone replied

"Somewhere, Dan Brown is getting a boner."
