Nice repositioning of the rooster in the other; it's a shame the background was lost in the process. This one creates an interesting new life from a difficult source.

The cat distortion definitely looks off in some way. Otherwise, the fish are just gorgeously executed. The other is not all that bad, but this one wins out for sure.

This is the clarity I was looking for in the other source fishes of the tournament, which is a shame because I am so in love with the illustrative style of the other piece. Both of these deserve a pass in my opinion, but after seeing a fish, I wanted to see THIS fish.

I think this one trumps the other. The fish look very real (and also very ugly, I wouldn't buy those fish in a million years!). The other entry is weird, is it a cartoon or realistic? Good work recreating the feet for the rooster, had to vote for one and the ugly rooster-fish wins it for me.
