Yeah. I've NEVER helped anyone around here, so I can't brag like some of you have. But just because I've NEVER HELPED ANYONE AROUND HERE is no reason to despise the ReinMan. Huh..
There are PLENTY of OTHER reasons to despise the ReinMan. Sad

(like when he talks in 3rd person...) Very Happy

The Phishing spam this has generated is way out of control.

I'm keeping a list, and right now I have it at "52" reasons to despise Reinman, and the only thing going in his favor at all is the whole
"Cute 'n' Cuddly" thing.

I just got an e-mail from PayPal:

Your credit card ending in xxxx will expire soon. To avoid any disruption to your PayPal service, please update your credit card expiration date by following these steps:

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Go to the Profile subtab and click Credit Cards in the Financial Information column.
3. Choose the credit card that needs updating and click Edit.
4. Enter the updated card information.

Thought I'd pass it on just in case anyone else wanted to use PayPal but with a credit card instead of a bank account. Smile

Sorry--I mean thats what 'm still getting, and it started a couple days after this thread started.
I've sent a bunch of them to paypal.

This one was genuine. It instructed me to sign in to my PayPal account but did not even include a link to the PayPal homepage. It also had the last 4 digits of the credit card I had used (I had x'ed them out here), which has, in fact, expired.

But it is a very good warning to be wary of such e-mails, particularly if they say "click here" to update your info or anything like that. So many phishing scams these days, the legitimate correspondence can easily be missed.
