Recently i have been having trouble with my color settings and i am not sure if they are correct at all on my laptop.

On this contest image i could not see the dust that seems to now be in the doorway under the beams of wood? Should i be able to see that like i do now?

My photohop question is more reladted to gradients. I seem to have also inherited a banding issue on all my gradients. I used to see them as smooth and non-banding.

Should the banding have been there even on the photohop defualt gradients i dont get if it is that i can see more detial or not?

I know such a lame question Laughing

Thanks, Rob

I can't see the banding but I see little squares..is that what you mean. Go to VIEW/SHOW/PIXEL GRID

I fixed this by a fresh install of windows. #i no longer see the banding in screenshot 2 but little squares in the first on a compression issue i think.

Thanks for taking the timed guys Smile

wow, that's radical, maybe the issue was tied to photoshop using the video card's OpenGl to render graphics
